Adam Todd, Senior Forest Manager, RFS Cert For, MArborA
Adam has joined the Yorkshire team as a Senior Forest Manager. He has a broad knowledge of silviculture and has applied this successfully across his forestry career having helped manage some of England’s well-known estates such as Highclere Castle, Oxford University, Belvoir Castle and most recently Chequers Estate, where he was Head of Rural and Forest Management.
He has significant experience in the supervision and management of contractors and has extensive knowledge of forest pest control, hedge and tree planting and formal sporting. He is a keen advocate of increasing climate change and risk resilience in woodlands and forests through modern management techniques such as continuous cover forestry and the planting of novel species.
Adam is proficient in the application and delivery of woodland grant aid and is driven to provide his clients with clear and concise results and feedback.
Adam holds a degree in Forestry and Woodland management, as well as a range of practical qualifications and experience. Â He is holds certified forester status with the Royal Forestry Society (RFS Cert.For.) and is a professional member of the Arboricultual Association (MArborA).
