Euan Borthwick BSc (For) MICFor, Forest Manager
Euan joined Tilhill Forestry in July 2024 as a Forest Manager in the Eskdale and Teviot region near to his hometown of Hawick in the Scottish Borders. Euan had previously worked with James Jones and Sons from 2015 until 2024 where he was involved in managing timber harvesting operations as well as timber mensuration and quality control at the Lockerbie Sawmill.
In 2014 Euan commenced his degree in Forest Management at the University of the Highland and Islands Scottish School of Forestry, where he subsequently qualified with his BSc degree in 2021.
Euan has been a professional member of the Institute of Chartered Foresters since 2023. He has a wide knowledge and experience of the UK forestry sector drawing from his time working with the harvesting division at James Jones as well as experience working as a forestry contractor, working with a social enterprise and small-scale estate forestry.
