James Pearson, Assistant Forest Manager - Apprentice
James joined the Midlands team in July 2024, following the completion of a Level 3 Agriculture course at Riseholme College
He is now undertaking a three-year Professional Forester Degree Apprenticeship, in conjunction with the Forestry Commission and University of Cumbria where he will learn all aspects of Forestry management. He is one of two apprentices which have joined Tilhill both based in the North and Central England team.
On a day-to-day basis James will be assisting and shadowing his colleagues, gaining valuable experience in forestry whilst gradually taking on more responsibilities within his team.
Away from work James enjoys to travel to new places and to play Hockey For The local team.
