Daniel Ridley BSc (Hons), Assistant Forest Manager (Graduate)
Daniel joined the Tilhill graduate programme in September 2022 as an Assistant Forest Manager after graduating from Bangor University with an MSc in Environmental Forestry.
After completing a BSc (Hons) in Animal Biology at Edinburgh Napier University, Daniel spent a year as an intern teaching outdoor natural sciences in California and decided to make a switch to the forestry sector to incorporate his love of working with people and ecology. He hopes to quickly gain knowledge in the practical side of land management and improve his ecological classification skills.
Daniel is a student member of the Institute of Chartered Foresters and the Royal Forestry Society and a keen proponent of ancient woodland restoration. He currently manages sites in the Central Scotland East area across east Perthshire, Angus, Fife and South Aberdeenshire.
