Fergus McGlade BSc, Forest Manager
Fergus graduated from the Scottish School of Forestry UHI with a Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Forest Management & Conservation in July 2016 and is working towards becoming a professional member of the Institute of Chartered Foresters. Fergus previously worked for his family’s forestry business before joining Tilhill in June 2022. Fergus is experienced in managing a wide range of woodland establishment schemes, timber harvesting and marketing projects and working with stakeholders within the Scottish Forestry Grant Scheme.
Fergus has an enthusiastic and passionate attitude towards forestry and his job which continues to help him progress and develop as a forester.
Working as part of the North Highland Team he looks to help deliver a professional service to the company’s clients and help them achieve their objectives
