Rob Baker, Forest Manager MICFor
Rob joined the company having gained a First-Class honours degree in Forestry Management from the University of Cumbria. In the process of gaining this degree he picked up the Tilhill sponsored student prize for his final year submission.
Prior to joining Tilhill, Rob spent 7 years based in Warwickshire working as both a senior arborist for a local authority and running his own tree surgery business. He has also previously spent time in the north east of Scotland gaining experience in harvesting and processing operations.
Having progressed through the Tilhill graduate scheme, Rob’s new Forest Manager role has him overseeing a diverse range of forest properties and woodland creation projects throughout the North West Highlands.
Rob also received Institute of Chartered Foresters Professional Membership Entry (PME) status.
