Lucy Callaway BSc, Forest Manager
Lucy joined the team in June 2022 as an Assistant Forest Manager and is based in the Midlands Area office. She attended Nottingham Trent University and graduated with a 2:1 in BSc in Ecology and Conservation. As part of her course, she undertook a placement year in the environment industry and volunteered as a ranger with the National Trust at Clumber Park in Nottinghamshire.
During her final year of university, she became a part-time Assistant Ranger with the National Trust which was her first paid role in the industry. There she gained insight into practical conservation and forestry work and experience as a project lead on a small-scale habitat restoration.
She soon realised that she wanted to take a step into the forestry industry after working on small scale land management. Since commencing work with Tilhill she has been working closely with other Forest Managers and looks forward to managing her own portfolio and working with landowners.
