Elizabeth Dunnett, Forest Manager
Lizzy joined Tilhill Forestry on the graduate training program in June 2023 and quickly progressed to take on Forest Manager responsibilities. Having had a lifetime of exposure to forestry through a family woodland, the move is a career change following 10 years working as a vet.
She is enjoying the challenges and rewards of commercial upland forestry, delighting in identifying opportunities for different silviculture approaches within forests dominated by clear-felling regimes.
Outside of work, hobbies include climbing, keeping an allotment and walking, usually accompanied by her scruffy grey dog, Oakley.
