Justin Gorbold, BSc Hons (For), MICFor, Senior Forest Manager
Justin joined Tilhill in January 2021 after an extended career break. He covers East Devon, Dorset and South East Somerset bringing over 15 years of experience of specialising in managing large and small private estates from Devon to the Scottish Islands. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Tilhill, as a thorough and highly motivated forester. His core competencies include: Forest & woodland management, timber marketing & harvesting, certification and UKWAS, forest budgeting & planning, woodland design & creation, conservation, GIS mapping, historic woodland & parkland restoration, Health & Safety, contractor management, arboriculture and integrating multipurpose estate functions.
Beyond Tilhill Justin is a keen mountaineer and long distance walker. He’s also a commercially endorsed Yachtmaster Offshore & Cruising Instructor and has skippered and taught sailing across the world.
