Alun Morgan, Forest Manager
Alun started with Tilhill as a forest worker straight from school in 2008 as Foreman. He provides an important link between manager and contractor and is the Districts “go to guy” for many practical aspects of forestry.
He has experience in all areas of forestry from planting and harvesting to running his own part-time sawmill and has been crowned Welsh Tree Felling Champion three times!
Alun became Assistant Forest Manager in Wales in 2020 and was promoted to Forest Manager in August 2021.
He has a real passion for Welsh forestry and maximising timber quality through delivering good silvicultural practice.
