Yasmin Ali, Assistant Forest Manager
Yasmin started her journey into forestry by undertaking a part-time, distance-learning master’s in forestry at Bangor University in 2021.
She joined Tilhill Forestry’s graduate programme in the summer of 2023, balancing her dissertation work with her responsibilities at the company. Yasmin graduated with Merit in November 2024.
At Tilhill Forestry, she supports the team by helping to oversee forest operations, focusing on organising work programmes to ensure they are conducted safely, meet required standards, and stay within budget.
In her free time, Yasmin enjoys hiking and mountain biking—hobbies that initially sparked her interest in forestry.
