As we write this Bulletin, the country and the industry are getting to grips with the restrictions on lives and working practices that we haven’t had to face before.
These restrictions have been changing at a rapid pace and we are all working hard to ensure that business can continue, while protecting the health of our employees, contractors, suppliers and the wider community.
No doubt the situation will continue to evolve in the coming weeks and even months. Tilhill is keeping abreast of the situation and adapting our operational rules and guidance accordingly. We have set up a dedicated page on our website which we are updating on a daily basis together with information on our dedicated Contractor Portal.
We have issued specific guidance to our staff and contractors on what to do if you feel ill with the symptoms of the virus, the requirements that must be in place while sites are still operational, the circumstances under which we may need to close sites and how we proceed should it be necessary.
It is vitally important that at this time we follow the expert’s advice, maintain social distance, take additional hygiene measures and, while many are working remotely, that we stay in touch with each other.
