As I write this bulletin a new variant of concern has arrived, and restrictions are being tightened slightly. These include a change in the self-isolation rules for those who have come into close contact with someone with the new variant. This is against a background of already relatively consistent high levels of infection of the Delta variant across England, Scotland, and Wales, with some areas experiencing recent significant increases.

We must remain vigilant with our Covid controls and ensure we are all implementing the required control measures on sites and in offices. With the new variant of concern, it is important that the site and office log is maintained to assist Track and Trace services should a case be identified with anyone that has been to our sites or offices.

A cautious approach at home and work now will help minimise further disruption to business and, importantly, all our Christmas plans.
