Good Call Award

Calum is a forwarder operator on our site in the north of Scotland. He was working on site when he noticed animal activity in his vicinity. There had not been any ecological sensitivity highlighted, so he stopped and made the good call to Assistant Harvesting manager , Kinsey Aikman.

Kinsey contacted the landowner, who arranged for an ecologist to visit the site to make an assessment.

Due to Calum’s continued vigilance, his willingness to make a good call and Kinsey’s follow up , disturbance or harm to the badgers  was prevented.
