Wales & Marches Team Move Office After 30 Years

Our Wales & Marches team last moved offices over 30 years ago. It was therefore with mixed emotions that the team recently made the move from their old premises at Lloyds Bank Chambers at 14 High Street, Llandovery to their new office in Church Bank, Llandovery.

The move was brought about by the closure of Lloyds Bank who owned the premised and resided on the ground floor of the building.  The building was subsequently sold therefore necessitating our move. Interestingly, LLandovery was the birth place of Lloyds Bank.

Wales & Marches District Manager David Edwards said of the move:

“The whole District & Marches Team are pleased with the move. The new offices are modern and self-contained and we now have our own secure compound which includes a large storage shed. Previously, our storage facility was on a nearby farm which was muddy in the winter and dusty in the summer.

“The new office will be the main phone centre for our office in Bala, North Wales too. Calls will be redirected to individual managers. Another bonus of the new office is the parking. Anyone who visited us at the bank premises will remember how difficult parking was and the new offices offer vastly improved car park!”

District Administrator, Christine Davies received praise for all her hard work in moving offices and was presented with flowers and a cake as a thank you.
